Guest Lecture: Tree Embolism Resistance

Vulnerability to embolism is a tree key physiological trait determining the limits of drought tolerance across species. Kyra May Ute Zembold, a Master Student of Department of Plant Ecology Goettingen University, conducting the research about tree xylem vulnerability to embolism in three locations. She collects the data from rubber plantation, palm oil plantation, and lowland rainforest in Jambi, Sumatera.
