Four undergraduate students from Departement of Biology have been joining Undergraduate Exchange Program 2017 held by International Program Centre (IPC), Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University (KU), Thailand, since August 1^st to be completed on December 31^st, 2017. This program was initially made regarding the collaborative agreement between Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB and Faculty of Science, KU and was aimed to support both universities as the World Class University with global-minded students.

The final year students, Ismail Shaleh, Era Mardiyah, Rara Tiara, and Sissy Nagita Octarya, are the third batch awardees since 2014 when the program was first commenced. In this year, the program boosted the students to have a full-time research as part of their bachelor thesis data under supervision from KU and IPB. It is planned that the students will present their summary result at the end of the program. In the program, they were also provided with basic Thai-language class at the first two months so that they can enjoy living and interacting with local Thai people. In addition, the student enjoyed some extra-activities such as study tour and excursion to some attractive places and national park in Thailand. The survival process for staying in the foreign country with different meals, languages, and cultures become their challenges. For the benefits, the student learning and experiencing international research and culture networking that will support their after-campus life.
