Indonesian Archipelago: Animal Biodiversity
Description
This course learn about zoogeography, biodiversity and its function, and the management of diversity of Indonesian animals. Indonesian animals diversity is studied based on the taxon selected, including the invertebrates (bees, beneficial insects, aquatic invertebrates) and vertebrates (birds, mammal, primates, including humans). This course is complemented with field trips to broaden knowledge of the students.
Learning Outcomes
Students understand and can explain zoogeography, biodiversity (invertebrates to vertebrates selected taxon), function of animal diversity in human life and the environment, and management of animal diversity.
