Introduction
Joint degree IPB (Bogor Agricultural University) -Flinders University is an international academic program designated for the Ph.D./ doctoral student on Microbiology, Plant Biology, and Animal Biosciences to seek Ph.D. degree from both universities. The students will have the opportunity to take courses at the Department of Biology and conduct Ph.D. research at Flinders University. The student will be exposed to an international academic atmosphere at the College of Science and Engineering or College of Medicine and Public Health that will enrich their experiences. Tuition fee at Flinders Univ will be waived for 3 semesters. At the end of the program, the students will obtain one degree with two certificates from both universities.
Eligibility
Both administrative and academic requirements below should be completed in Semester 1 and Semester 2 respectively.
Administrative Requirement
- Indonesian citizen
- Enrolls as a full-time student in DoctoralStudy Program in the Department of Biology IPB
- Submit a research summary approved by the Supervisor from IPB
- Passed the Committee interview
Academic Requirements
- GPA >3.5 with a total of >20 credits.
- English proficiency: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) band score of at least 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.5 in the Writing components and 6.0 in all other components, or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet-based test (iBT) of at least 80, with a minimum score of 22 in Writing and 18 in all other components
