Four staffs of Biology Department comprised of the Heads of Study Programs of Microbiology (Prof. Dr. Aris Tri Wahyudi), Plant Biology (Dr. Miftahudin), and Animal Biosciences (Dr. Dyah Perwitasari), and the Post-Graduate Commissionair of Biology Department (Dr. Diah Ratnadewi), have visited Kasetsart University (KU) in Bangkok, Thailand last end-August. That was the follow-up visit to develop an academic collaboration in post-grad education with the Faculty of Science of KU.

Faculty of Science of KU consists of 12 departments, including Department of Microbiology, Department of Botany, Department of Genetics, and Department of Zoology that were visited by the staffs.

After leveraging the curriculla, the academic terms, as well as the semester credit unit, both sides agreed to start a stepwise collaboration in 2015, starting from students exchange towards joint-researches and joint-supervision, and then joint-magister degree at least two year later.
