On August 27th, 2014 from 10.30 to 12.00 WIB, located at Discussion Room of Department of Biology, a guest Lecture seminar was held with a title: "Palynology: materials, method, and application in biological sciences". The Lecture was Siria Biagioni, PhD candidate from Department of Palynology and Climate Dynamics, Georg-August- University Goettingen, Germany.

On August 15th, 2014 from 09.00 to 11.00 WIB, located at Discussion Room of Faculty of Fisheries, a guest Lecture seminar was held with a topic: "Gene Discovery in Plants". The Lecture was Dr. Andy Pereira, Professor in Plant Molecular Genetics, Department of Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences, and Plant Pathology, USA.

Department of Biology, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and Kyoto University held the International Symposium entitled: Diversity and Conservation of Asian Primates at IPB International Convention Center (IICC) (18/8). On Saturday, July 19th, 2014 from 08:00 am to 08:00 pm at IPB International Convention Center, Department of Biology held a meeting to prepared a Internal Quality Assurance Standards (SPMI) documents. Beginning in 2014, IPB applied SPMI system for Postgraduate program, after several years it just applied for Bachelor program. Department of Biology had to prepared seven sets of SPMI documents because it has 1 Bachelor program and 6 Graduate programs. IPB had been  accredited…
