Prof Yasumasa Bessho Talked about Zebrafish

One of Nara Insitute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan scientist, Prof Yasumasa Bessho, M.D. Ph.D., discussed how Zebrafish organ develops at Lecture Room 1.3 Department of Biology, Friday, August 11, 2017.
His talk included how his lab doing the research, life imaging technology, and the research in Zebrafish. He mentioned that his research using zebrafish as an experimental animal because of its characteristics in developing fast, easy to introduce genes, and able to generate embryos while observing further. In the talk, he provided some live images of zebrafish organ development.
The guest lecture was part of Prof Yasumasa Bessho agenda in Bogor after he gave some speech in the 2nd International Conference on Biosciences (ICoBio) 2017 (8-9 August 2017). The lecture was attended by students of Undergraduate Program in Biology as well as Graduate Program.
