A total of 26 biology teachers came to the Department of Biology to attend lecture series for updating their knowledge in biology (28/08). The teachers were Islamic High School teachers in DKI Jakarta joined in MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran) Biologi  MA, an Islamic high school biology teacher group. Dr. Ir. Miftahudin M.Si. welcomed the teacher in the opening session. "Welcome to the Department, we hope that because of our collaboration today, the Department will take a part in high school education improvement, in the field of Biology. For instance, updating phylogenic analysis, immune system, and genetics", he said.
"In addition to the teacher from DKI Jakarta, in today event, one Islamic middle school teacher and one Islamic high school teacher from Depok also join the lecture", Sri Suripti, MGMP vice chairman, said about the participants. 
The teacher continuously attended the lecture series held in some classrooms in the Department.Dr. Ir. Tatik Chikmawati M.Si., Dr. Berry Juliandi M.Si., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Suharsono DEA have explained their expertise in phylogenetic analysis, immune system, and genetics.
