Team of Department of Biology IPB achieved the Gold Medal in the event of National Olympic of MIPA (ON-MIPA) in 2014 held by Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Education and Culture of RI, 21-25/5 in Semarang. Not only that, 2 bronze medals were also achieved by the Field of Biology. The medalists name are:

1. Rizky Dwi Satrio - BIO 48 (Gold Medalist)

2. Miftahul Huda Fendiyanto - BIO 48 (Bronze Medalist)

3. Muhammad Umar Said Muksini - ITP 48 (Bronze Medalist)

Moreover, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal in the Field of Mathematics, 1 bronze medal and 2 Honorable Mentions in the Field of Chemistry also obtained by the Team of IPB. Rizky Dwi Satrio, the gold medalist in the Field of Biology, ranked on the 2nd from 25 best participants nationwide in the Field of Biology, a proud achievement.

Team of IPB consisted of 13 people coming from the team of FMIPA (Departments of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and the representation from Department of Science and Food Technology, FATETA IPB. This team was elected to attend the competition in the national level after successfully passed the selection of IPB level and the selection of area level. At the regional level, IPB went into the Region III covering Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi and Banten. From the regional level, Team of ON-MIPA IPB then advanced to the national level. There were 14 regions which had the ability to compete in this event.
