On March 2014, three academic staffs from Department of Biology visited Faculty of Science, Kasetsart Univiversity (KU). They are: Dr. Rika Raffiudin (representative of Department of Biology), Dr. Triadiati (the Coordinator of Undergraduate Academic Advisor) and Prof. Dr. Anja Meryandini (Head of Graduate Program in Microbiology Dep. Of Biology).

Facing AFTA 2015, both IPB and KU agree to improve academic atmosphere to International standard. Therefore, in 2013 IPB and KU have already signed MoU to implement this goal.

Following the MoU,  the aim of this meeting was to build an academic and research collaboration between Department of Biology IPB and Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University.

The meeting was attended by Dept. of Biology delegations, the Dean of Faculty of Science KU, Head of Microbiology Department-KU, Head of Biochemistry-KU, International Collaboration Office-KU, Head of Computer Science-KU, representative of the Head of Chemistry-KU.

The Dean of Faculty of Science open the meeting with a warm welcoming speech and introduce the Faculty members and staffs, and their research.

Likewise, then Dr. Rika Raffiudin mentioned the structure of Dept. of Biology, divisions and research interest of the staffs.

Below are the results of the meeting :
1. Both parties agree to have student exchange for approximately 2-4 weeks.
2. Bench fee and accommodation will be covered by the host.
3. Ticket and living cost will be covered by the sender.
4.  Both parties agree to exchange student in summer time.

Before leaving Bangkok, delegates had a half day tour to Ayutthaya museum, the old king palace and several others beautiful places.
