ABIOTIC (Application of Biology for Community)

ABIOTIC (Application of Biology for Community) is a community service program from Himabio's Bioworld Division that focuses on solving community problems from the biological aspect. For the year 2021, the activity included online seminars, counseling on waste management, providing donations, and controlling waste management in Cipada I Village, Kec. Cikalong Wetan, Kab. West Bandung. Activities carried out in the Village were related to the waste management tutorial. The activities were conducted in May 2021. The activities involved several village communities and the local village government. The Abiotic event was attended by a total of 50-100 participants, namely: government representatives (RT, RW and Village Head) Cipada I Village, Cikalong Wetan, West Bandung, West Java, Himabio students, and the general public. The output of this activity is that the participants gain new knowledge about activities that can be carried out to help problems in the community. Participants also received information on how to handle the environmental waste. These activities were related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) no 3 (good health and well being) dan SDG no 15 (life on land).
